Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the U Can – Adapted Water Sports Camp, hosted by LanzAbility in partnership with Aò! Experience. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before signing up for the waitlist, booking your place, or participating in any of our camp activities.

By joining the waitlist, making a booking, or attending the camp, you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

  • Waitlist: Signing up for the waitlist is free and non-binding. It gives you early access to book before the camp is opened to the general public.

  • Booking Process: Once you’re on the waitlist, you’ll be invited to book a personal call when the list closes. If, after the call, our team feels the camp is a good fit for you, you’ll be able to go ahead with your booking.

  • Camp Fee:
    The camp consists of two components:

    • Camp Base Price: €765 per participant

    • Accommodation: Choose from the following options (7 nights at Nautilus Lanzarote, fully accessible):

      • Garden View One-Bedroom Apartment: €820

      • Superior Poolside Two-Bedroom Apartment: €1,425

    The total price will therefore vary depending on your chosen accommodation.

    What’s included in the Camp Base Price (€765):

    • 4 days of adapted water sports (kayaking, SUP, surfing, surf kayaking, etc.)

    • All airport & beach transfers

    • Snacks during activity days

    • Professional photos & videos

    • Sun-protective water licras

    Payment Terms:
    Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. We accept payment via bank transfer or credit/debit card.

2. What’s Not Included

  • Flights to and from Lanzarote (can be booked with the assistance of an ABTA-bonded travel agent through LanzAbility)

  • Main meals

  • Personal care or support during the trip (can be arranged separately through LanzAbility)

  • Travel insurance

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Participant:

    • More than 60 days before the start date: 80% refund

    • 30–59 days before the start date: 50% refund

    • Less than 30 days before the start date: No refund

  • Cancellation by Organisers:

    • If the camp must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, safety concerns, illness of key staff), you will receive a full refund.

    • In case of partial cancellation (e.g. one or more activities), we may offer partial refunds or rescheduling options.

4. Health and Safety

  • You must provide accurate information about your health, disability, and any specific needs prior to booking.

  • Participation in water sports requires that your health condition is stable and that you are able to follow safety instructions. We may ask for a medical clearance if necessary.

  • All participants must follow safety guidelines provided by instructors and staff during all activities.

  • The organisers reserve the right to exclude participants from specific activities if they believe participation would pose a serious risk to their health or safety.

5. Insurance

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical needs, cancellations, and personal belongings.

  • The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the camp.

6. Accessibility and Support

  • All water sports activities are adapted to suit a wide range of mobility, sensory, and cognitive needs.

  • If you require additional support (e.g. personal assistant, mobility aids, nursing care), please let us know in advance. LanzAbility can help you organise this, but it is not included in the camp fee.

7. Media and Photography

  • During the camp, we may take photos or videos for use in future promotional materials.

  • You will be asked to give explicit consent before any images featuring you are used. You can decline media participation at any time.

8. Behaviour and Conduct

  • We aim to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.

  • Discriminatory, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the camp without refund.

9. Data Protection

  • We collect personal data solely for the purpose of organising your participation in the camp.

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
